The Firm has also participated in all major Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP) and Independent Power Projects (IPP) in the Kingdom and acted in relation to the award-winning SAR 11 billion Qurrayah IPP, Saudi Electricity Company’s third independent power project and the largest combined cycle IPP in the world. It the past the Firm also acted for the sponsors on the SAR 9.75 billion Rabigh II IPP, Saudi Electricity Company’s fourth independent power project and had previously acted for the sponsors in relation to the award-winning US$ 2.5 billion Rabigh IPP (Saudi Electricity Company’s first independent power project), the award-winning SAR 9 billion Shuaibah III IWPP (Saudi Arabia’s first independent water and power project) and the US$ 2.0 billion Shuqaiq II IWPP (Saudi Arabia’s second independent water and power project).Some representative transactions are:• Advising a well-known EPC Contractor on the various project issues for a US$ 830 million mining project;
